ACCOUNTABILITY PROGRAM

Career Network Ministry offers free job search accountability groups designed to support, motivate, and guide job seekers with actionable strategies during their career transition. Our Job Search Team programs holds weekly virtual meetings where participants set goals and/or complete homework assignments, share progress, and receive feedback from their team members and leaders.

The program is open to both unemployed and employed individuals actively seeking a career transition, from all career stages - early career to executive level. While the accountability groups are not industry specific, we aim to match team members with similar backgrounds in a group and/or align our team leaders’ industry experience.

Peer Support & Networking: Connect with others in similar job search situations. Share experiences, exchange tips, and build a collaborative network.

Accountability: Set and achieve weekly goals and/or complete homework assignments to maintain momentum, with team support to hold each other accountable.

Personalized Feedback: Receive targeted guidance on your resume, marketing plan, LinkedIn profile, and interview techniques, to enhance your job search.

JOB SEARCH TEAMS

Perfect for early career and mid to senior-level professionals.

Program Overview

Start Date: June 16, 2025

Program Length: 8 weeks

Program Format: Virtual

Meeting Length: 2 hours, once a week

Meeting Times: Multiple sessions available, morning, evening, and weekend options.

Member Size: 6 to 15 Team Members

Meeting Focus: Mastering key job search strategies, expanding your professional network, leveraging interview and transferable skills to advance your career.

Program Entry Process: Open Registration (limited to class size). Register early for your preferred schedule.

Participation Options: Previous members are welcome. New Members receive priority. Register early for preferred schedule.

EXECUTIVE JOB SEARCH TEAM

Ideal for seasoned leaders at the VP, C-Suite & board level. (Click here for more qualifications).

Program Overview

Start Date: Estimated - June 19, 2025.

Program Length: 10 weeks

Program Format: Virtual

Meeting Length: 1 1/2 hours, once a week

Meeting Time: Single session only, held each Thursday, 7:30 AM- 9:00 AM ET

Member Size 6 to 8 Team Members

Meeting Focus: High-level networking, leadership branding, navigating the hidden job market, executive mock interviews, and showcasing how your experience drives solutions and growth.

Program Entry Process: Submitting an application begins a competitive review process but does not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Participation Options: One-Time Program. Register early for potential spot in Job Search teams if not selected for the Executive team.

JOB SEARCH TEAMS PROGRAM GUIDELINES

How It Works

Set SMART Goals: Each week, you’ll define 3-5 Specific Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound (SMART) goals to guide your job search. You will post your goals in a private online community to stay accountable and measure your progress.

Engage in Weekly Sessions: Interactive virtual meetings cover key job search topics, such as resumes, LinkedIn optimization, and networking strategies.

Leverage Collaboration and Track Progress: Share updates, exchange feedback, and address challenges with team support. Weekly goal reviews help you refine your approach and stay on track.

Complete Weekly Assignments:
Includes drafting or enhancing your resume, practicing your elevator pitch and interview responses which prepare you to tackle real-world job search challenges with confidence.

Attend all weekly 2-hour virtual sessions.
No more than two absences are permitted. Consistent attendance is strongly recommended to stay on track and fully benefit from the program. If priorities change, you’re welcome to return and rejoin when ready.

While you wait for the program to start, there are several proactive steps you can take to build momentum and keep yourself motivated.

Attend New Member Onboarding - Schedule one session prior to start of weekly series-no repeat class required. Refreshers are welcome if needed.

Executive Job Team Program Requirements

Position Qualifications: Designed for seasoned leaders with current or recent experience in executive-level roles, such as VP, C-suite executives, or board members. Participants must have worked at companies with 20 or more employees and demonstrated success in achieving measurable results while holding VP-level or higher positions.

Leadership Experience: Tailored for executives with a strong track record of leadership, combining both the ability to execute functional responsibilities and lead teams, drive strategy and manage operations.
