If you feel that you are receiving helpful support in your job search and would like to give back to CNM, please consider serving as a volunteer. By volunteering, you will stay engaged and connected during your search, expand your network, and fill any gaps in your resume or LinkedIn profile.
We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities to suit your interests and talents. The number of hours you give is totally up to you. If you are unsure where you could best serve, please use the role entitled "General Interest Volunteer" to inquire about opportunities not aligned to a specific program or workshop.
CNM LIVE! Volunteer (Onsite Only)

CNM LIVE! held 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 6:30-9:00 pm. Volunteer based on your availability.

•Are you available to regularly, at your discretion, volunteer onsite during CNM LIVE! Events? (2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 6:30-9:00 pm at HTC Church in McLean, VA)
•Do you have a passion for connecting with people and making them feel welcome and heard?
•Are you organized, with a knack for keeping a table group conversation running smoothly?
•Do you enjoy helping others improve their job search skills and boost their confidence?
•Are you skilled at providing constructive feedback to help job seekers showcase their best selves?
•Is there a specific skill or interest that you'd like to contribute to our job search networking group? (elevator pitch, interviewing, coaching, marketing plans, LinkedIn, resume, networking, etc.).

Job Search Team Leader

Co-lead virtual group for a 2-hour group session over 8 to 10 weeks. Both day and evening sessions are available. Time off accommodations are available for holiday, vacation, or personal needs. Almost all Team leaders are paired with a co-leader to help their teams and provide scheduling flexibility.
