Jim Scheurer

Jim Scheurer is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in business administration, project management, and technology. Originally from Philadelphia, Jim attended an all-catholic boy’s school, Northeast Catholic High School before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Drexel University, majoring in Management Information Systems and Operations Management.

Throughout his career, Jim has held roles at AT&T, SAIC, the United States Post Office, and Northrop Grumman, where he excelled as a Business Analyst and Project/Program Manager. His commitment to excellence was recognized during his time at George Mason University, where he earned a Master’s degree in Technology Management. Jim was elected as the outstanding graduating student by the faculty and achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Currently, Jim works for Copper River Cyber Security on a Department of Defense project, showcasing his expertise in the field. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Jim is dedicated to his family, celebrating 29 years of marriage with his wife, Jessica Fischer. Together, they have two daughters, Lee and Christine, as well as a granddaughter named Caroline.

Jim’s commitment to his community is evident through his involvement on the Lifestyle board in Centreville, VA, where he has served for six years. Recently, Jim joined the CNM volunteer team, participating in the Job Search series in Fall 2022. Impressed by the support and skills he gained from CNM, Jim has returned as a co-leader for the Spring 2024 series, eager to give back and help fellow job seekers navigate their own career paths. In his free time, Jim enjoys outdoor activities such as walking with his dog Spencer, hiking, biking, swimming, and appreciating the beauty of his neighborhood's flowers.
