She has been named to the 300+ Women In HR Technology Worth Watching and has won the  Human Resources Leadership Award and the Gary Cluff Award for Recruiting Excellence.

Jo classifies herself as a “serial volunteer” working with multiple organizations that assist active-duty members of the military as well as veterans and several groups that support job seekers from various backgrounds. She is a long-time CNM volunteer.
