RECEIVE SPIRITUAL SUPPORT
DURING YOUR CAREER TRANSITION
Career Network Ministry is launching a Spiritual Direction Pilot Program offering 10 CNM members the opportunity to receive individual confidential spiritual support with a trained Christian spiritual director throughout the length of the program from August through November.
The pilot serves two purposes:

To provide meaningful spiritual support to members,

To help CNM evaluate whether to add spiritual direction as an ongoing service.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their awareness of God's presence during their transition, discern next steps, and help shape the future of spiritual direction at CNM through their feedback.​
IS THIS PILOT FOR YOU?

Desire spiritual support and are open to spiritual conversation and reflection

Can commit to 1–2 sessions per month for 4 consecutive months

Are willing to provide monthly feedback to help evaluate the program

PILOT DETAILS & APPLICATION PROCESS
Application Process
Step 1: Register for a Required Kickoff Workshop
Attend a virtual workshop to learn what spiritual direction is, whether it's a good fit for you, and how the pilot works. Workshop attendance is required before your application can be processed.

Step 2: Apply Through the Member Portal
Step 3: Fit Conversation
Applicants who appear to be a strong fit will be invited to a brief conversation with the Pilot Facilitator (first-come, first-served) to confirm mutual fit and set the program up for success
Step 4: Notification
All applicants will be notified of their status following review.

Selected applicants will be connected with their preferred spiritual director for a fit call.

Those not selected will be informed about waitlist opportunities and potential future offerings.
PILOT OVERVIEW AT A GLANCE
Participation Limit: 10 CNM members
Session Frequency: Up to 2, 60-minute sessions per month
Session Format: One-on-one virtual sessions (in-person options available in NoVA)
Spiritual Directors: Certified spiritual directors and directors-in-training from nationally recognized training programs
Confidentiality: Sessions are confidential; directors-in-training may request member permission to record sessions for confidential training supervision
Pilot Length: 4 consecutive months, August through November

PILOT FACILITATOR
Pamela leads CNM's Spiritual Direction Pilot Program and serves as one of its spiritual directors. Inspired by her experience as an executive coach and her own experience navigating employment uncertainty, she developed the pilot to help members notice God's presence, seek His guidance, and receive compassionate spiritual support throughout their job search.
