Sheila Murphy is a co-founder of FlexProfessionals, a niche staffing firm that matches experienced professionals seeking meaningful, flexible employment with growing businesses in need of top talent. Launched in 2010, the firm helps professionals, mostly caregivers, who have taken career breaks find meaningful part-time or full-time flexible work. The firm also helps professionals working full-time find the flexibility they desire to meet demands at home or pursue other interests. Candidates typically have at least 10 years of experience across a range of fields, including Finance & Accounting, Engineering, Data Analysis, Administration & Office Management, IT, Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, HR, Legal, Business Development, Web Development, Design Applications, Research, Technical & Proposal Writing and Education & Training,.

Featured on The Today Show, Sheila is a career re-entry and career transition expert, work flexibility advocate, and seasoned speaker/trainer on a variety of job search and career development topics. She has a BA in Political Science from Boston College.

Sheila discovered Career Network Ministry (CNM) around the same time she co-founded FlexProfessionals. Through the power of networking, she met Bob Korzeniewski and many other devoted and talented CNM volunteers, who encouraged her to support CNM. As with all healthy professional and personal relationships, the support was mutual. Sheila has served as a CNM speaker, presenter, and table leader. In turn, CNM has helped to deepen and diversify FlexProfessionals’ talent pool. Many CNM members – current and past – have found meaningful employment through this relationship!
