Eric Shott

Eric Shott spent the first 30+ years of his career as a Technologist (in the dark age- mainframes and punch cards), then as a Sales Engineer, working with government contractors, then selling :"stuff" to the government and finally managing sales organizations and companies. About 10 years ago, he became burned out and wasn't sure what to do. He joined CNM both to update his skills and to learn from other people about different career paths. During one of the sessions, Cheryl Bedard, an executive recruiter, discussed some of the difficulties of the job search activity and offered some suggestions to smooth the process. She also offered a one-on-one meeting to anyone who was interested. He took advantage of that offer and ultimately ended up working with Cheryl in his current role as an executive recruiter. CNM helped to reorient and led to a new career that has been a great fit for him.
