Ellen Kirchman

Dr. Ellen Kirchman is an experienced executive leader, educator, and certified project management professional who serves as a Job Search Team Leader and Interview Partner with the Career Network Ministry. With a Doctor of Business Administration, an MBA, and over two decades of leadership experience across corporate, public sector, consulting, and higher education environments (with a particular emphasis in IT), Ellen brings both strategic insight and practical wisdom to those in career transitions.

Throughout her career, Ellen has led enterprise project management offices, directed governance initiatives for the State of Minnesota, managed global programs for Fortune 500 organizations, and built her own consulting and training company from the ground up. She currently teaches project management at Metropolitan State University, where she equips emerging professionals with real-world skills and confidence.

Ellen’s passion for career coaching is deeply personal. Having experienced several job transitions herself, she understands and appreciates both the uncertainty and the opportunity that change can bring. During those times, others generously invested in her growth, offering encouragement, clarity, and new perspectives. She is committed to giving back in the same way.
