Ashley Shimer is Sr. Recruiting Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) specializing in technical recruiting. She has over 15 years of experience in the talent acquisition field. for such companies as Booz Allen Hamilton, Centuria, and Ajilon Consulting.
Ashley is also the Founder and President of the NeverGiveUp26 Foundation created in memory of her brother Packy Purcell, a star football player and inspiring coach. This organization is dedicated to raising awareness of Crohn’s disease and colon cancer, and helping people and their families who suffer from these two diseases. She encourages everyone to live by Packy's motto***, "NEVER GIVE UP!"***
