Dave Schultz is the Director of Patient and Family Relations where he serves as the patient experience and advocacy lead for Holy Cross Health, a not-for-profit health care system employing 4,200 colleagues at two community-based acute care hospitals and twelve care locations, with $10M returned to communities in charity care throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.

Prior to his career in healthcare, Dave’s professional experience spanned multiple industries including education, energy, media, private equity, and government consulting, where he advocated for affordable housing, people experiencing homelessness, and community and economic development. Dave began his professional career as an officer in the United States Marine Corps.

Dave’s perspectives include having been the candidate, the hiring authority, part of the HR/Talent Acquisition team, and being the boss. He will share his insights about the hiring process from multiple angles.
