Is your LinkedIn profile in need of an…update? Has it been a while since you had a profile photo you were proud of? Great news! Learn how to maximize your profile and get a FREE professional headshot on the same night at CNM Live! Join us at 6:30pm for job search coaching and the photo session where professional photographer Bobbie Ann Mount, owner of Joyful Photography, will take your headshot you can use on LinkedIn.  At 7:30pm, our very own LinkedIn expert, John Foster will share ways to update your profile, so it looks as good as your new photo. Whether you're a seasoned job seeker or new to the platform, John will guide you on building a compelling profile and utilizing LinkedIn to connect with opportunities. 

GETTING READY FOR YOUR PHOTO SESSION

Bobbie Ann Mount will take photos from 6:30pm until 8:30pm on a first come first-come, first-serve basis at CNM LIVE. 

TIPS FOR A GREAT HEADSHOT 

• Consider what you want the headshot to communicate.
• Dress as you would for a job interview.
• Wear solid color clothing.
• Make sure the clothing fits you.
• Practicing different expressions in front of a mirror can help you find the most flattering and natural look for your headshot.
• Make sure hair is neat and natural and does not distract from your face.
• Trust the photographer! 

FOR MEN

• If you choose not to wear a suit, bring a blazer. 
• Forego overly busy prints, logos, or patterns. 
• Avoid distracting accessories.

FOR WOMEN

• Wear a modest neckline.
• Makeup should be natural, not distracting. 
• Jewelry should be minimal, not distracting. 

Photos will be sent using WeTransfer, a free file-sharing platform. The photos will only be stored for 7 days, so please download them promptly.
