Learn the art of a one-to-many conversation from James Steele, a Communication Instructor at NOVA.

In this interactive presentation, he will discuss:

 · Principles for managing speech anxiety. 

 · How to improve your delivery skills.  

· A step-by-step process for practicing speech skills.

About the Speaker 

James Steele is a Communication Professional, College Instructor, and Nonprofit Assistant Director who uses his skills as a communication professional and educator for many communities. With over a decade of experience in a variety of areas, he enjoys using his expertise to help people and organizations achieve their communications goals.

As a full-time instructor at Northern Virginia Community College, James educates students in subjects such as public speaking, introduction to communication, and intercultural communication.

He also serves as the Assistant Director of Communications for Federal Career Connection, Inc. (FCC), an educational non-profit with the mission of educating federal job seekers on applying for a federal career and helping current employees mature in their careers. James also serves as a Communications Consultant for Career Network Ministry.
