Deborah Leben started her career in the federal government at the United States Secret Service as a Fingerprint Specialist. She advanced to senior leadership positions, including Director of the Secret Service Crime Laboratory, Office of Investigations, and Strategic Program Advisor, Office of Human Resources. In 2017 she achieved the Senior Executive Service certification and love every aspect of her career.
Deborah believes that through the help of mentors and being intentional about pursuing your dream career, you are creating a lifestyle filled with curiosity, personal growth, and fulfillment and not just landing a J.O.B. Along her career journey, she met people who were not living their dream and were just coming in for the paycheck. She began working with people to identify and achieve their goals and discovered how coaching helps people pursue what truly matters.
Today, Deborah is an Executive Career and Leadership Coach, keynote speaker, and trainer. She offers customized solutions for career planning and leadership advancement. She is the founder of the DL Coaching and Career Successes Academy. Deborah’s mission is to help individuals and teams discover their strengths and their value and find careers that utilize them. She is a Certified by the International Coaching Federation and the Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute. She is an Adjunct Professor with the George Mason University Forensic Science Program and a coach and team leader for Career Network Ministry. Career Network Ministry equips job seekers with the tools, coaching, and community to prepare them for strategically pursue their ideal career. She learned about the Career Network Ministry from the founder of Career Confidence, another organization that is dedicated to help professionals network strategically and excel in their career.
