About the event
Like many job seekers, you may have skipped the most important part of a job search - "Personal Discovery" - finding out who you are and what you really want.
If you are not clear about this, you may end up in a job where you just don’t “fit.”
Bob will focus on this critical foundational step of the job search process - Personal Discovery.
While in a job search, you need to convey the best of “who you are” not just “what you have done” to recruiters and hiring managers.
To do this well, you need to devote the time and effort to create a purposeful, thoughtful inventory of yourself including
- your experiences
- your skills, gifts, talents, and abilities
- your personal values
- your professional attributes, work passion, and strengths/weaknesses
By being intentional and investing in this important aspect of the job search process, you will be able to determine your unique value proposition and promote your “ideal self” as the best candidate for the job you want. Also. Bob will show you how to demonstrate your unique value proposition with confidence in the interview.
