• A step-by-step process for practicing speech skills.

About the Speaker

James Steele uses his skills as a communication professional and educator for many communities. A full-time instructor at Northern Virginia Community College, he educates students in public speaking, introduction to communication, interpersonal communication, and intercultural communication. He also serves as the Department Chair for Communications & Humanities at the Woodbridge Campus. 

Additionally, he serves as the Director of Communications & Operations for Career Network Ministry. James also volunteers as a contributor with Federal Career Connection. Formerly a non-profit organization, this group of volunteers continues to educate federal job seekers on applying for a federal career and help current employees mature in their careers through the ongoing blog articles provided on the website. With over a decade of experience in a variety of areas, James enjoys using his expertise to help people and organizations achieve their communication goals.
