About Our Guest

Paul Pantzer is Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director at Rees Broome, a law firm with over one hundred employees and four locations. Paul’s career is a testament to the importance of developing a strong professional network, maintaining relationships, and delivering top-quality results. His current role is the top administrative/operational role in the firm, an important job integral to balancing the needs of the partners and the people who support them.

This is Paul’s third stint at the firm, having previously served as Executive Director and earlier in his career, as Controller and Personnel Manager. In addition to those roles, Paul’s career successes include serving as Director of Administration to two other prestigious law firms, Bingham McCutchen and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman. Paul has also served as Executive Director at a technology consulting firm.

Throughout his career, Paul has directed or influenced the recruitment and hiring processes for staff at various levels and across various functions. He has also experienced a career break, spending ten years in his most rewarding role to date, stay-at-home Dad, following the elimination of his role at the time. Paul understands the challenges of navigating career changes, and of reentering the talent market after a break.

Paul will share his insights about what matters most in the hiring process, what’s often really happening inside of the decision-making process, and what candidates can do to stand out in an interview.
